Assistant Headteacher job summary
At Loddon Infant and Nursery, we believe every child deserves a joyful start to learning, and we are seeking an Assistant Headteacher who shares that purpose. You will help steer our school forward, championing high standards across EYFS and KS1 and shaping a curriculum that inspires curiosity and confidence. Working alongside dedicated colleagues and a Headteacher who values collaboration and professional generosity, you will cultivate a culture where staff feel supported, children feel known, and families remain at the heart of our work. This is a chance to influence whole‑school improvement, nurture emerging talent and contribute to the vibrant, people‑first ethos that defines our Federation and the Active Learning Trust.
We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who will:
Ensure an aspirational culture and ethos of challenge and support where all pupils can achieve success and become engaged in their own learning and the learning of others.
Support the Headteacher to lead, motivate and develop employees to continue the improvement journey.
Drive strategies which continue to secure high standards of behaviour and attendance, student welfare, and citizenship.
Continue the rapid improvement journey the schools are on.
