About the role

Within the role of Assistant Headteacher your primary role will be to secure through ‘Inspiring Excellence Together’, an outstanding education for all young people at Montgomery Academy. Along with setting consistently high expectations of staff, students and their outcomes, improving year on year.

You will also work as part of the senior leadership team to ensure a purposeful, positive and disciplined culture and ethos. Ensuring that a safe and supported student body with strong progress and attainment, develop as global citizens with character, strong values and an appetite for continued learning throughout their lives.

Montgomery Academy is a rapidly improving mixed comprehensive of 1150 students. It was rated ‘Good’ for Leadership & Management, Behaviour & Attitudes and Personal Development in a full section 5 inspection in February 2022.
