Job Level/scale: L5 - L9 £54,938 - £60,643
Nova Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join their school as an Assistant Headteacher. The role involves Strategic leadership across the school curriculum as a key pillar to enabling our children to grow into confident young individuals, to include improvement planning, implementation and evaluation. To monitor and evaluate the standards of teaching and learning and student progress, behaviour or other aspects of provision across the school as directed.

Job Purpose
Teaching and Learning: This role will include a strategic oversight of teaching and learning including responsibility for policies, procedures, and offering support and professional development for teachers.
Assessment: The role will work closely with senior and core subject leaders to have an overview of all school data collection methods and systems for data analysis and interpretation. This will involve sharing key data with a variety of stakeholders and acting on the key patterns and trends that emerge, driving forward high achievement across the school.
Curriculum: The role will be fundamental to implementing the best curriculum possible, in line with national and trust requirements, to give pupils a rich and inspirational experience of developing their knowledge and skills.

Fluency Duty
The ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users of the service and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
