What skills and experience we're looking for

  • At least 2 years successful comprehensive school experience of leadership at senior leadership level or post of equivalent responsibility within the education sector.

Experience of leading change and innovation in an educational context.

Ability to create a culture and ethos of challenge and support where all students can achieve success and become engaged in their own learning.

Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practise of school self-evaluation.

Further details about the role

  • Working alongside the Deputy Head Behaviour, Welfare & Achievement, set the direction and implement the school improvement plan for behaviour and attitudes.

Set direction, support and monitor Pastoral Leaders across the KS3 & KS4 Teams.

Work with the Senior Assistant Headteacher as well as other Senior Leaders to ensure high quality tutor and assembly programmes throughout the year.
