What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Leading by example, you will be totally committed to working on the ground, ensuring that our primary children receive a truly outstanding education that meets their academic and developmental needs.
  • You will be passionate about reading and literacy, understanding how to develop pupils to become fluent readers with a love of reading.
  • You will have understanding and experience of different phases of Education from EYFS to Key Stage 2, demonstrating a range of approaches to learning that enable us to meet pupils needs by stage not age.
  • You will believe in an ethos of “done with” understanding that a highly supportive environment where high structure is evident enables pupils and staff to be their best in all they do.
  • You will be passionate about supporting pupils social and emotional development, understanding that this is key for academic success.
  • You will demonstrate proactive, strategic leadership, knowing when to take decisions and how to communicate these effectively.
  • You will be an effective and highly visible team leader with the ability to influence, inspire and motivate a wider team.
  • You will have a significant knowledge and understanding of SEND, specifically SEMH, and how these complex needs can affect learning.
  • You will always model positivity and optimism, knowing that as a part of the Senior Leadership team, you are a role model for other teachers and leaders.
