Are you passionate and enjoy helping young people achieve their personal best? We are currently looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated people with experience to provide classroom support for our pupils at Eko Pathways School. If so, we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidates will ideally have experience within a range of mainstream or SEMH settings.
Have a commitment to meeting pupils' needs, supporting their social, emotional and mental health needs, sometimes with personalised programmes.
Demonstrate an understanding of the role of the teacher and their own role in relation to teachers, other support staff, and pupils.
Have a secure understanding of literacy and maths.
Demonstrate an awareness of how pupils learn and the factors that can affect their progress and how to support these.
Promote community involvement both inside and outside the school to support achievements and personal development.
Eko Pathways School, East Ham, E6 6FE
Eko Pathways is a brand new purpose-built special school for children with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs, with a therapeutic approach. It has places for between 88 children and young people, catering for Year 3 to Year 11.
