Assistant Headteacher - Raising Standards/Initial Teacher Training job summary

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join us as we continue to build on our vision in our rapidly expanding and successful school!

All our Assistant Headteacher's have whole school responsibilities and lead a 'College'. In this role you will act as Raising Standards Leader (RSL) and lead on school provision for Initial Teacher Training (ITT), Early Career Teacher (ECT) and Unqualified Teachers to ensure the best learning in our school.

Additionally, you will lead the Athena College which consists of an academic faculty of subjects (Art, Photography, Craft, Textiles, Performing Arts, Music, Media/Film), line manage the Subject Leaders and pastorally leading the ‘College’ of students across all year groups. This is a highly rewarding role enabling Assistant Headteacher’s to develop a wider range of academic and pastoral leadership skills.
