Tyne Coast Academy Trust are seeking an inspirational leader to join the senior leadership team within one of our three secondary schools at an exciting time in the Trust’s development. A qualified SENDCo you will be the champion for our students with SEND whilst also undertaking a teaching role in your subject. You will be passionate about inclusion to ensure that students reach their full potential in all aspects of their development working alongside both the academy and central teams. The post will play a pivotal role in the strategic development of SEND support within the school, including providing professional advice and guidance in the areas of SEND in order to secure high quality teaching, and ensuring resources are used effectively to ensure improved standards of achievement and progress for all students. The post will also lead a team of Learning Support staff.
