Assistant HeadTeacher Sixth Form

L12 - L16

Prince Albert High School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who will shape and lead our new Sixth Form. The Sixth Form is due to open in September 2026 and planning and recruitment for this exciting project starts now.

The successful candidate will hold responsibility for the following areas:

  • Sixth Form provision, embedding the curriculum, pastoral system, whole school vision, mission, and core values.
  • Sixth \Form admissions, induction, programme of study, praise and behaviour Policy, Enrichment and CEIAG (with Heads of Year)
  • QA of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment in sixth form with the SLT Leads for teaching and Learning, Data, and Assessment
  • Sixth Form data, assessment, and target setting
  • Oversight of Disadvantaged Sixth Form mentoring strategies

The role is to start in September 2025, with the successful candidate working with the wider SLT in the main school, until the Sixth Form opens in September. Student and Staff Recruitment will begin in the Autumn Term.
