Overview of the role:

We’re Expanding! Lime Academy Hornbeam is Recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher.

Lime Academy Hornbeam is growing, and we are excited to be working closely with the Local Authority to create additional specialist places for children and young people with complex needs.

As part of this exciting expansion, we are looking to recruit a passionate, dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join our team.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who has:

- Leadership and management of SEND experience

- Experience of leading change and improvement across a school and excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills

- Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management strategies to effectively meet individual learners needs

- Ability to provide pupils with the excitement of a relevant, challenging and creative curriculum that raises standards of education for all

- A clear understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and experience of working with children with a range of complex needs

- High expectations of themselves and others

- Tenacity, passion, drive and ambition
