About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of the school, providing effective leadership and management of Specialist Provision and Inclusion, including SEND. The postholder will lead the development of a specialist provision based within Howden School, alongside overseeing inclusion across the school.

Central to the role is driving improved outcomes for vulnerable learners, including students with SEND, through the design and implementation of a high-quality, robust, and responsive curriculum. The role also involves the rigorous monitoring and evaluation of initiatives, as well as strategic oversight of the Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) and the remodelled Bridge provision.

Applicants must be either a qualified SENDCo or willing to undertake the qualification and should have a strong understanding of tailored curriculum design to meet diverse learner needs.
