We are looking for a dedicated individual who can:
- Provide inspirational and strategic leadership, promoting the vision, values and Christian distinctiveness of Abbey Multi-Academy Trust and St Chads, while supporting the Headteacher in the effective organisation, management and development of the school.
- Lead and drive sustained school improvement by raising standards in a core subject, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning through instructional coaching, robust use of data, and high expectations for all pupils and staff.
- Monitor, evaluate and enhance the quality of education across the curriculum, supporting subject leaders to deliver an engaging, inclusive and ambitious learning experience that meets the needs of every child.
- Develop, motivate and hold staff to account through effective performance management, high-quality professional development and a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across the Trust.
- Drive sustained improvements in the quality of teaching and learning through the effective use of instructional coaching, and share professional knowledge, skills and expertise with colleagues across the Trust.
- Champion a positive safe and inclusive school culture, strengthen partnerships with parents, governors, the Church and the wider community, while contributing fully to the strategic leadership and day-to-day life of school.
- Someone who will support the Trust's Christian ethos as well as our shared mission and values.

Located north of Leeds City Centre in Headingley, St Chad's is a thriving one form entry Primary School.
