Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of inclusion across the school, ensuring an ambitious vision aligned with our School Development Plan.

• Champion high quality teaching, tailored support and effective interventions to meet diverse

pupil needs.

• Oversee statutory and strategic responsibilities related to the SEND Code of Practice, Equality Act 2010, safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils.

• Work collaboratively with staff, families, external agencies and governors to secure strong

progress for vulnerable groups.

• Line manage and develop the inclusion and support staff team, promoting a culture of

professional excellence and reflective practice.

• Lead the strategic use of Pupil Premium to improve outcomes.

• Serve as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children.

• Promote a positive, inclusive ethos where every pupil is supported to succeed and flourish.
