Assistant Headteacher job summary
We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team and help shape the next stage of our school's development. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented leader who is passionate about high quality teaching, inclusive practice and outstanding outcomes for every student.
Working closesly with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in driving improvement, developing staff and ensuring that every student thrives both academically and personally.
The precise responsibilities of the role reflect the strengths and expertise of the successul candidate, but may include leadership of areas such as:
- Teachin g and Learning
- Assissment, progress tracking and data analysis
- Curriculum planning and Timetabling
- Safeguarding and student welfare
- Inclusion and SEND
- Progress of disadvantaged students
- Attendance and pastoral systems
- Development of ICT and e-safety
- Development of Numeracy
As Assistant Headteacher, you will lead by example, inspire staff and students, and help create an environment where excellent teaching, strong relationships and high expectations underpin everything we do.

The school is situated to the West of London with good rail and road access. Our location means our staff enjoy living in areas such as West and South West London, Surrey and Berkshire making fantastic choices for city, suburban or rural living available.
