Assistant Headteacher with Maths specialism job summary

As an Assistant Headteacher you will support the strategic leadership of the school by providing effective leadership and management for a designated area of the schools work (behaviour or subject area) along with other leaders. You will be responsible for raising standards in your particular area of responsibility. In addition, to lead a specific strand of the School Development Plan.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of modelling the highest professional standards to staff and students . Candidates will also be educated to degree level and have Qualified Teacher Status, and will be able to promote effective management of student behaviour and encourage staff to foster a nurturing culture and to take active part in the safeguarding of students by ensuring that it is given the highest priority.
