Assistant Headteacher (with responsibility for inclusion) job summary
We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher to join our team.
The successful candidate will:
• Lead the inclusion team, secure high expectations, effective deployment of resources and improved learning outcomes for all pupils
• Play a major role in the school improvement with a particular focus on behaviour, SEND and Inclusion
• Work closely with the SENDCo and Heads of Department to ensure the curriculum is relevant, accessible and engaging for all and that all pupils are progressing
• Be an excellent role model, exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectations for all members of the school community
• As a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, work with the safeguarding team ensuring practice, policies, procedures, systems and training are robust, up-to-date and implemented by all staff
• Be a strong team player who forms excellent relationships with staff, parents and students
• Be willing to support the ethos of our school
