Assistant Network Manager

to join our Central Team

Payscale: £33,000 - £36,000 per year (plus travel allowance)

35 hours a week, 52 weeks per year

Commencing: As soon as possible

Location: Hybrid - Central Office in Ely, remote working and regular travel to schools

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Network Manger to join our IT Team.

The Assistant Network Manager will support the Head of IT and the Network Manager in delivering the transformation of IT across the Trust and manage the IT Technicians and Helpdesk in all aspects of IT operations across our schools.

The ideal candidate will:

have a strong background in IT systems and networks;

have experience in the delivery of IT projects;

have good knowledge of either Microsoft or Google environments;

ideally have experience and knowledge of an education environment;

be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

This is a full-time role, in a rapidly evolving setting, where your ability to use initiative and solve problems independently will be key. Accuracy, communication and quality of work are essential.

The IT team is part of a wider central team who work across a number of functions including HR, Finance, Facilities, Governance and Education. We work in partnership towards the common goal of delivering an excellent education for our pupils and a supportive, enriching place to work for our staff
