Assistant Principal and Curriculum Lead for Vocational Faculty job summary

A great opportunity for an inspiring senior leader to support the continuing development of the Kingswood Secondary Academy, recently judged ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted, from September 2020. The role: The academy has a faculty structure in place and The successful candidate will lead a faculty which predominately delivers the Cambridge National qualifications at KS4 and KS5 in subjects such as Sport, HSC, IMedia, Business & Enterprise, Engineering and Child Development. You will work with the Senior Assistant Principals to monitor and track the progress of pupils, the quality of teaching and learning and attendance and behaviour within the faculty. About you: You will be an exceptional middle/senior leader with a demonstrable commitment to helping all pupils achieve their best, despite their background. With high expectations of behaviour, you will motivate staff and pupils through high quality leadership and management. You will be an innovative manager, able to analyse and interpret Academy data to support clear, strategic decisions. You will be well supported by the senior leadership team at the Academy and the Education Support Team of the Trust, to ensure that the overall Academy vision is achieved.
