What skills and experience we're looking for
Eastborough Academy are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal to join our academy in April, 2025 on a full time, permanent basis.
As an Assistant Principal, you will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and you will deputise for the Head of Academy in their absence. You will provide proactive support to the Head of Academy, Executive Principal and AABmembers to ensure the leadership and management of the academy operates effectively. Your role will be to lead, firstly as a highly effective classroom practitioner that will model outstanding practice as well as undertaking monitoring of the provision, inclusion and achievement for all pupils. What the school offers its staff
Eastborough Academy is a Delta Primary Academy in the centre of Dewsbury. We serve a diverse and multicultural community for which we received a national inclusivity award. We have around 225 pupils on roll, we offer education from part time Nursery places up to Year 6. Our pupils speak over 16 different languages.
