Assistant Principal - Head of Sixth Form job summary

Thomas Deacon Academy have an exciting opportunity to appoint an outstanding dynamic, driven leader to join their SLT as Assistant Principal – Head of Sixth Form. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Sixth Form students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and character to make a positive contribution to society and ‘thrive’ as a global citizen. We are looking for a leader who has demonstrable experience in raising achievements of learners. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Principal who is looking for a new and exciting challenge and comes at an exciting time for the Academy. From September 2020 we are expanding our curriculum offer and, combined with an additional intake of Year 7 students, this enables us to create more opportunities across the Academy.
