Assistant Principal: Inclusion


We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, innovative and inspirational teacher and SENDCO with the passion and enthusiasm to fulfil a key role in the school as Assistant Principal: Inclusion. The Assistant Principal: Inclusion leads our SEND Team, works in close partnership with parents and carers and liaises with a wide range of external professionals.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionately committed to inclusive education
  • Who can ensure that all of our students can access the curriculum, make excellent progress and thrive throughout their time at Weydon
  • An experienced and fully qualified SENDCO
  • With a proven track record of SEND leadership, EHCP processes and statutory frameworks
  • The ability to lead change and contribute to whole school improvement
  • Confident in using data to evaluate impact and to improve outcomes
  • Be a calm, credible and inspiring leader able to motivate, challenge and to support others
