Assistant Principal Inclusion (with SEND Qualification) job summary
An Assistant Principal for Inclusion plays a pivotal role in shaping a school culture where every learner is valued, supported, and able to thrive. This post demands a leader with a strong SEND qualification and a deep commitment to equity, who can champion inclusive practice across the curriculum, guide staff in meeting diverse needs, and work closely with families and external agencies. The successful candidate will model high expectations, use evidence-informed approaches to remove barriers to learning, and ensure that pupils with SEND experience ambitious teaching, meaningful participation, and positive outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence whole‑school strategy and make a lasting difference to children who need it most.
