Assistant Principal (SENDCO) job summary
The Role
You will be working with the Principal and Executive Team to provide leadership for the academy which secures its successes and continuous improvement, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and the highest standards of learning and achievement in accordance with Trust requirements.
The successful candidate will be a leader who is passionate about the development of people and is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence for every scholar, regardless of their background.
You will have experience of leadership, either via Curriculum Leadership of a core subject and as a member of senior leadership team. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience of teaching across primary age range and an understanding of multicultural/EAL issues.

Hatfield Academy is a larger than average-sized primary academy situated in the North of Sheffield with over 400 children on roll from the Reception Year to Year 6.
