Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit an Assistant Principal. This role will be based at Trinity Catholic School, Guy’s Cliffe Avenue, Leamington Spa, CV32 6NB.

  • Pupils’ behaviour has transformed since the last inspection.
  • The trust took strategic and highly effective action to restructure the school’s leadership team in place.
  • You have stabilised staff, and pupils speak very positively about the consistency of the teaching team now at the school. Staff are overwhelmingly positive about working in the school and appreciate the support they receive to improve their practice.

The successful candidate will:

To carry out the duties of a teacher as set out in the current Teachers’ Standards Document.

To support the leadership team in establishing high quality systems and policies, quality of education through effective leadership.

To support the leadership team in establishing a culture that promotes excellence, equality, and high expectations of all students.

Oversee and lead on OFSTED preparation.

Ensuring that a high-quality educational experience is available for all students.

Assist the leadership team to ensure that the curriculum is rich, relevant, and inspirational and contributes to outstanding educational and whole person outcomes.

Inspiring a passion for learning in every member of the school community.

Providing a model of outstanding practice to all staff in teaching and school leadership.

Ensuring that teaching in all year groups is at least ‘good’.

Ensuring creativity, innovation, and the use of appropriate new technologies to achieve excellence.

Keeping abreast of educational developments and best management practice to introduce appropriate innovation and contribute to joint practice development.
