Hours: 37 hours/week, Term Time Only (39 weeks/year)
Astrea Academy Dearne is seeking a highly effective Assistant SENDCo to join our committed team. The Assistant SENDCo will be required to support the strategic and operational delivery of high-quality SEND provisions across the school. Working closely with the SENCO and wider pastoral and teaching teams, the Assistant SENDCo will help ensure that scholars with additional needs receive tailored support that enables them to thrive academically and socially. This role involves coordinating interventions, supporting staff with inclusive teaching strategies, liaising with parents and external agencies, and contributing to the development of EHCPs and individual learning plans. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion, highly organised, and committed to Astrea’s values of educational excellence for every child.
