What skills and experience we're looking for
We need a dynamic, hard-working Assistant SENDCO who is committed to delivering outstanding provision for students with additional needs.
The successful applicant will:
- Assist the SENDCO in leading the provision for SEND
- Undertake EHCP reviews
- To work with the SENDCO to develop and implement intervention groups and support
- To manage and maintain provision maps
- To provide all staff with the support, challenge, information and development necessary to secure progress for all learners
- Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues
- Deputise for the SENDCO as required.
