Assistant SENDCo job summary
As an Assistant SENDCo you will be working closing with the SLT playing an instrumental part in ensuring every student reaches their full potential. Your role as an Assistant SENDCo also promotes high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Lead SEND reviews and maintain meticulous records.
- Efficiently manage SEND paperwork and administration.
- Build strong relationships with parents and outside agencies.
- Actively contribute to meetings and foster a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with therapeutic, pastoral, and personal care needs.
