Head of Primary Finance job summary
We’re looking for a Trust Head of Primary Finance to manage the finances of the 8 Primary academies in our Trust. You will be responsible for the management and operation of budgeting and accounting systems, monitoring and reporting on financial performance as well as working alongside the trust management team and finance director to develop the trust strategy going forward.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the provision of financial advice and information to senior leaders in academies.
We’re looking for an individual with the ambition and potential to become a Finance Director of the future. You will have:
- CIMA, ACCA or Equivalent (or demonstrable relevant equivalent experience).
- Previous experience of undertaking Finance Manager duties.
- Experience of computer-based accounting packages.
- Strong communications skills.
- Experience of the education sector or the ability to quickly learn about us.
