We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to join the Site Team at the college as it enters an exciting time in its history.

This individual will contribute to the maintenance, cleanliness and security of college buildings and undertake porterage and general caretaking duties as required and directed by the Facilities Manager. It is a split role, with flexibility between general handyman tasks and groundsman tasks, including mowing, hedge trimming, weeding and other tasks as required.   Knowledge of DIY and general maintenance skills as well as be confident when using computers and a variety of computer-based systems would be beneficial, however, we welcome applications for this post with or without general maintenance and DIY experience as full on the job training will be provided.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent teamwork, organisation and attention to detail.   They will need to have a friendly, flexible “hands on” approach and the ability to relate confidently and appropriately with all users of the College; staff, pupils, parents and visitors.

It is a requirement of the role that the successful applicant completes MiDAS training (arranged via Cromwell) in order to operate as one of the College minibus drivers. This may involve alterations to shift patterns to be available for school trips and pre- and post-school pick-ups and drop-offs, to be agreed on a case-by-case basis.
