Assistant Site Supervisor job summary

We are seeking to
appoint a conscientious and flexible individual to undertake a range of site
supervision and general maintenance duties, both within the school buildings,
and in our grounds.   The successful candidate will work flexible
hours, as agreed with the Site Supervisor, to cover the core school day as well
as lets, from 07:00 to 22.00, as well as lets outside of the school term and
weekends. 

Suitable candidates will be shortlisted and interviewed prior to the closing date, therefore this post will close as soon as a suitable appointment is made.

Experience of working
in a school is not essential, we recognise that skills and experience gained in
other sectors can be very relevant and could lead to individuals being very
successful in this role.

The person appointed
will have a general knowledge of Health & Safety, be able to undertake
maintenance tasks and be confident when taking on responsibility for the
security of the building.

The school is maintained to a high standard and
the successful candidate will support the Site Supervisor and Operations Manager
with the implementation of the vision for the estate and with the strategic
maintenance of the site. Elements of the role involve physical exertion.
