Assistant Site Supervisor
Hours: 37 hours per week; 52 weeks per year
Working hours: Monday 1:30pm -9:00pm, Thursday to Friday 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Salary: Grade F6

You will support the Site Manager and School Operations Manager in undertaking a range of general maintenance, routine inspection, and premises management tasks to ensure that the school is a safe, clean and attractive environment to learn in.

The Assistant Site Supervisor is responsible for:
Maintaining clean, safe and secure school premises, which includes buildings and grounds
Carrying out cleaning, handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage and minor repairs
Supervising and support a small team of cleaning staff
Carry out regular inspections to ensure quality cleaning standards are met
Ensure the building is safely locked and alarmed
Promoting health and safety around the school
Carry out emergency cleaning duties, such as gritting and cleaning up spillages
Carry out and record regular health and safety checks including on legionella risk, play equipment, safety equipment and any hazards on school premises; report any problems to Site Manager
Provide safe access to the school in cold weather conditions
