What skills and experience we're looking for

Essential Qualifications:

- 96 UCAS Tariff points, equivalent to 3 A levels at grades C or above, including at least one STEM subject at A level or equivalent. Equivalent UCAS Tariff points also accepted from BTEC Level 3 Diplomas and Access to HE Diplomas.

- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C / 4 or above, including maths and English.

Key purpose of role:

This training position provides the postholder with digital skills and systems training whilst studying for a higher degree in Digital and Technology Solutions. This post provides the opportunity to develop coding skills and work with the software development team at East Norfolk to help streamline and develop systems and reports. The postholder, under the guidance and direction of the Systems Development Team Leader, will maintain and develop in-house applications, designed to streamline and improve efficiency at East Norfolk Sixth Form College. 

At the end of the 4-year degree, the postholder will have a permanent role at the College supporting the Systems Development Team Leader to further develop and support East Norfolk’s digital systems, if they are awarded a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions with Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2) or higher.

The apprenticeship will be delivered by blended learning, which is a combination of online distance-learning and in-person teaching and learning.
