We have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Subject Leader to join Stamford Welland Academy! You will assist the Subject Leader provide valuable support to the subject team by providing expert subject knowledge. Your commitment to promoting a positive learning environment will benefit the wider curriculum team and support the high quality teaching you will provide the students.

The opportunity

  • Provide valuable support to the Subject Leader on the delivery of specific subject knowledge.

  • Assist performance management of subject teachers and provide professional development support where required.

  • Ensure all curriculum changes are communicated effectively.

  • Monitor and evaluate the progression of students and ensure they are appropriately taught and prepared for all external examinations.

The ideal candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • Excellent classroom practitioner and ability to build strong, meaningful relationships.

  • Experience of providing subject knowledge to students and teachers.

  • Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.
