Assistant Vice Principal job summary

We seek to appoint an Assistant Vice Principal to join the Senior Leadership Team at George Pindar School. The successful candidate will have responsibility as SENDCO with additional strategic leadership of the Pupil Premium strategy and our on-site alternative provision, the ARC . There is a teaching commitment with this role, expected to be 10 periods across a two week timetable.

We are now seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated leader to join our School and become our new Assistant Vice Principal, operating as part of our tight-knit Senior Leadership Team to help move our school to even greater heights and supporting our students to be their very best. You will be joining #TeamPindar at an exciting time as we continue our post-academisation journey to good in all areas. The school is characterised by warmth and community and the successful candidate will serve a pivotal role in this respect by engaging some of our more vulnerable learners who need additional support to strive for success. The successful candidate will act as the school's SENDCo, lead the Pupil Premium strategy and lead our on-site alternative provision, the ARC, for students at risk of permanent exclusion.
