Assistant Vice Principal - Inclusion job summary

The job holder will lead on inclusion for the whole school which includes acting as the school’s SENDCo as well as having a small teaching commitment. The core focus of the role of the AVP for Inclusion is removing barriers to learning. Central to this is fulfilling all aspects of the role of Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator including responsibility for the SEND register, staff training and development, timetabling, assessment, reviews, and representing the school as required.
