Assisted Reintegration Classroom (ARC) Supervisor job summary
You You are:
- Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a school setting
- Authoritative and fair
- Well-organised and proactive with strong administrative and ICT skills and attention to detail
- An excellent communicator, with good people skills and a supportive team player
- Flexible, responsive and self-motivated
- Confident in handling confidential/sensitive data and information and to working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Happy to work alone with pupils for long periods of time
You will:
- Support pupils in the Assisted Reintegration Classroom (ARC), to complete work and help the pupils focus in a structured, calm and simple environment to facilitate a successful return to their timetabled lessons.
- Intervene with identified pupils to improve behaviour and support individual or small groups of pupils as required.
- Produce reports and contribute to action plans
- Communicate with staff daily
- Update and manage tracking systems
