Assistant Headteacher (Safeguarding and Attendance) job summary
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) will support the Headteacher in leading the Safeguarding Team and is a pivotal role that is central to the success of the academy.
The successful candidate would line manage the Deputy DSL, Safeguarding Officers and Attendance Team on all Safeguarding related matters.
The role would be paid within the Leadership Scale and would include a teaching commitment. As such, an element of the roles performance management would be focused on the Teachers’ Standards.
