We are seeking an
Assistant Principal with a SENDCo specialism to join a well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement.
In this key role, you will:
- Lead the strategic direction and development of our SEND provision
- Support staff in understanding the needs of pupils and achieving priorities and targets
- Monitor progress and effectiveness of teaching and learning
- Liaise with staff, parents, external agencies co-ordinate their contribution and ensure continuity of provision
To be successful, you will:
- Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students
in a productive learning environment
- Promote good outcomes by students, planning well-structured
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment
- Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high
standards of personal and professional conduct
