Associate Head of Faculty: Mathematics (Joint Responsibility) job summary

The department has an enthusiastic and committed team of 17 teachers together with a Curriculum Associate to support the faculty with administrative tasks and student support. The successful candidate will be an inspirational and skilful teacher who will be able to motivate students and raise their achievement through delivering outstanding practice. Excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to the subject and leadership potential are essential. This role will consist of leading Year 10 learners in a large and successful faculty, in order to secure great progress. In addition, the post holder will be in charge of STEM. This is an ideal role for someone looking to progress to a Head of Mathematics position in the near future. The successful candidate will work closely with the other Assistant Head of Faculty who is leading Year 10 and Numeracy.
