What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you an organised and detail-focused individual with a passion for supporting young people to succeed? We are seeking a proactive and reliable Attendance Administrator to join our pupil services team at Cranbrook Education Campus.

In this key role, you will:

  • Monitor daily student attendance across all year groups
  • Maintain accurate attendance records in line with school policies and statutory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers and staff regarding attendance concerns
  • Support the wider pastoral and safeguarding teams to improve student outcomes
  • Liaise with external agencies when necessary to support pupil welfare

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent administrative and ICT skills (experience with MIS systems is a plus)
  • A professional and approachable manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of attendance procedures and safeguarding in a school environment
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school office
