What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an organised and detail-focused individual with a passion for supporting young people to succeed? We are seeking a proactive and reliable Attendance Administrator to join our pupil services team at Cranbrook Education Campus.
In this key role, you will:
- Monitor daily student attendance across all year groups
- Maintain accurate attendance records in line with school policies and statutory requirements
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers and staff regarding attendance concerns
- Support the wider pastoral and safeguarding teams to improve student outcomes
- Liaise with external agencies when necessary to support pupil welfare
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent administrative and ICT skills (experience with MIS systems is a plus)
- A professional and approachable manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of attendance procedures and safeguarding in a school environment
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school office
