We know that excellent attendance is the foundation of academic success and personal growth, and we’re looking for a committed Attendance Administrator to help us maintain high standards and positive engagement across the academy.
This is a key role for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people. As the first point of contact for attendance matters, you’ll play an essential part in safeguarding, wellbeing, and ensuring every student has the best chance to thrive.
🔍 What You’ll Be DoingMonitoring daily attendance and ensuring accurate, timely data entry into the school’s MIS system.
Following up on unexplained absences through phone calls, emails, and text messages.
Preparing attendance reports for senior leaders and external agencies to support strategic decision‑making.
Working closely with pastoral teams and external partners to support students with attendance concerns.
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding procedures at all times.
Providing flexible support to the wider administrative team when required.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communication and interpersonal skills when working with students, families, and staff.
Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and school MIS platforms (e.g., Arbor).
A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting young people and their families.
Experience in a school or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
A team player who contributes positively to the academy’s culture and values.
Salary: £8,801 per annum
Term‑time only: 15 hours per week
Working hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday & Friday
