We are seeking a motivated and resilient Attendance & Admissions Officer who shares our commitment to supporting every learner’s journey. This vital role contributes to raising achievement by improving attendance and punctuality, supporting admissions, and working with families to overcome barriers to learning. You’ll play a key role in safeguarding, tracking persistent absence, and promoting a positive attendance culture across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
• To contribute to raising achievement by improving school attendance.
• To provide a specialist service to assist the school in meeting their obligations and targets in relation to school attendance, especially persistent absence.
• To promote positive attitudes by students and families towards education and to ensure that parents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities.

Nightingale Community Academy is a school for boys aged between 5 and 19 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or Statement of SEN for social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Some learners also have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or other learning difficulties. At Nightingale Community Academy we are committed to raising the expectations of our learner group, removing barriers to learning and delivering attainment at the highest level.
