What skills and experience we're looking for
Richmond Hill Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague for the role of Attendance and Family Support Coordinator. This role is of great importance to our work as an academy, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality and comprehensive family support service to children, their families and carers, in accordance with the organisational needs and policies and practices of the school.
The ideal applicant will have:
- 5 GCSE’s Grade C/4 and above (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
- Knowledge and understanding of key government legislation surrounding attendance.
- An in-depth knowledge of steps that can be taken to support students in improving attendance.
- Knowledge of the social, emotional and mental health needs of young people.
- The ability to build good working relationships with pupils, parents, teachers and other professionals.
