Springfield is a popular and high performing 11-16 school, in which ‘leaders strive to ensure that every pupil feels valued’. Ofsted judged the school to be ‘good’, across the board in April 2025.

We are seeking someone who is highly organised and committed to pupil welfare. You will support daily attendance processes, first‑aid and pastoral communication in a busy secondary school. This role suits someone proactive, professional and calm under pressure, with strong communication skills and a dedication to student wellbeing and accurate record keeping. The successful candidate will benefit from wide ranging CPD opportunities.

For an informal discussion regarding the post, please telephone Mr Brimacombe (Deputy Headteacher) at the school.

Springfield School and The De Curci Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level, and other background checks, including overseas checks, will be required prior to any offer of employment.

Completed application forms will be passed to the recruitment panel for shortlisting and will be reviewed against the person specification detailed in the advert. Applications will be assessed upon receipt and we reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date. An early application is therefore strongly advised.
