Attendance, Deputy Safeguarding and Family Support Lead job summary

Lakeside Primary Academy is looking to appoint a highly motivated and organised professional to play a key role in our school. A vacancy exists for a hardworking and dedicated Attendance, Deputy Safeguarding and Family Support Lead to join the school. Main purpose of the post:

  • To work as part of a team within the school to maintain whole school attendance at above national average by closely monitoring pupil absence and working with families and staff to improve pupil attendance.
  • To work under the supervision of the school Designated Safeguarding Lead to manage referrals, attend safeguarding meetings and liaise with other agencies, families and staff to ensure the safeguarding of pupils. To plan and deliver parental support, including parenting programmes, in school. To support and provide advice and information to parents of pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs or low attendance
