Are you interested in transforming children’s lives, making a difference in our community and looking to join our team for your next step? We are excited to offer you this opportunity to join our Venture team.
The Engagement Lead project aims to provide additional support for pupils where attendance and engagement is an issue. Support would be for pupils who are persistently absent, school refusers or those that are experiencing other barriers to attendance and therefore struggling to engage positively with lessons, to reintegrate them back into school and help them to succeed with their education.
This role will support targeted pupils to develop more effective learning behaviours and engage positively with school, including outreach to families to signpost for support with their children’s attendance and engagement where necessary. The EL will help pupils and their families overcome barriers and support pupils to engage positively with learning. ELs will implement targeted interventions based on needs analysis within their school. They will explore and share best practice approaches to engagement and learning behaviours across their schools and with ELs in other schools. This role is supported through additional training and development.
