Attendance Manager job summary

What we need from you

  • A strong commitment to improving student attendance and outcomes
  • Confidence in working with attendance data, systems (SIMS/CPOMS) and processes
  • Excellent communication skills - empathetic, professional and confident when challenging conversations are needed
  • Experience working with children and families, ideally in an education or safeguarding-focused environment
  • Highly organised, resilient and able to work collaboratively with staff and external agencies
What you’ll do
  • Lead and deliver our attendance strategy and interventions
  • Track attendance, hold Supportive Attendance Meetings, and follow up rigorously
  • Liaise daily with parents, staff, senior leaders and external services
  • Identify concerns early and contribute to safeguarding and inclusion work
