Attendance Manager job summary
What we need from you
- A strong commitment to improving student attendance and outcomes
- Confidence in working with attendance data, systems (SIMS/CPOMS) and processes
- Excellent communication skills - empathetic, professional and confident when challenging conversations are needed
- Experience working with children and families, ideally in an education or safeguarding-focused environment
- Highly organised, resilient and able to work collaboratively with staff and external agencies
- Lead and deliver our attendance strategy and interventions
- Track attendance, hold Supportive Attendance Meetings, and follow up rigorously
- Liaise daily with parents, staff, senior leaders and external services
- Identify concerns early and contribute to safeguarding and inclusion work
