Attendance Officer job summary
Salary: NJC 11-14 FTE £25,979 - £27334 Actual Salary (£22,306 - 23,470) + AET Wellbeing Cash Plan + Pension Scheme (LGPS) + Additional AET Benefits
Hours: TTO plus 5 PD days 39 weeks - full time, 37 hours
Start Date: September 2024
We're looking for talented individuals to provide exceptional support services to our pupils, teachers and leaders. As key members of our support team, you will help drive improvements in student attendance, ensuring the academy meets statutory obligations and targets in order to contribute to raising achievement across the school.
The successful candidates will be committed team players with excellent organisational skills. You will have extensive experience of delivering excellent customer service and possess the ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders.
You will have:
* Experience of working in an administrative setting.
* Good IT skills
* The ability to prioritise, work efficiently and accurately, particularly under pressure, to deadlines and using own initiative.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Unity City Academy is a successful and growing provider of 11 to 16 education in the east end of Middlesbrough. The Academy has recently achieved an Ofsted "Good" rating in all categories and has over 900 students on roll, 64% of whom are pupil premium. UCA is part of AET which in turn means we have access to a wide range of training and educational opportunities.
