We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Attendance Officer to join our team here at the Oldham Academy North. The purpose of this role is to support the Academy to ensure attendance strategies are effectively implemented.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring data is complete, accurate and up to date
- Answer and record first day phone calls
- Input and maintain all relevant absence data into SIMS, CPOMS and other relevant systems
- Sign in students arriving late to school and follow up with appropriate action
- Follow up on any missing registration marks
Pay range:
SCP9-17 - £23,227.34 - £26,438.48 - FTE: £26,409 - £30,060 - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
- Experience of attendance management in a school environment
- Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential student information
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
