Grade 8, Points 15 - 18 (£28604 - £31028) FTE

Actual Salary £24481.36 - £26555.99 per annum

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (Part time hours will be considered)

We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Officer to join Ivanhoe School on a permanent basis. This is a term-time plus one week position, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Part time hours will also be considered; this will be discussed upon appointment.

Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher of Inclusion and Support, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and committed to working collaboratively with key staff in school, students and families to promote high levels of attendance and reduce levels of absence.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students’ success and ensuring that every child gets the education they deserve, whilst having a high regard for confidentiality, an ability to show initiative and be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.

You will be supported by an experienced Deputy Headteacher and will join a friendly, professional, and collaborative team.

Teamwork is an essential aspect of this role, and the successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students, parents/carers and a range of professionals and outside agencies.
